We all love to act like we’re above drastic calorie restriction, over exercising as punishment, and toxic self talk... and yet... so many of us are still doing it.
Because our INNER BITCH tells us to!
Here’s why, if you want to see results (that stick), you’ve got to say fuck off 🖕 to FADs.
Weight LOSS should never outweigh safety - underrating, overtraining, skinny teas, laxatives, diet pills, and self abuse. Duh!
Not only are they just plain stupid!
THEY DON’T WORK!!
Starving yourself? KUDDOS TO INNER BITCH. Congratulations- you’re now missing key nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. So now you have less energy, a compromised immune system, fatigue... maybe hair loss. Spoiler! Your shitty diet, whether it’s 1000 or 10000 calories may already do this.
Less food means less fat? WRONG AGAIN INNER BITCH. Underrating almost always leads to binging. You’re wondering why you can only stick to your diet for a couple days before your brain goes full psycho and forces you onto a chocolate bar like a
Under eating? INNER BITCH SAID TO. Yeah, dumbass. Your metabolism knows. You’re like a lion who hasn’t seen an antelope in weeks. When you see food, your body is hanging onto it for dear life because it doesn’t know where the next meal is coming from.
Over exercising? THANKS INNER BITCH. Without enough food, your body is probably burning muscle. And don’t hit me with that “I don’t want to look bulky” bullshit! Muscle is more metabolically active... meaning it burns more calories... meaning WE WANT IT.
You’re SKINNY TEA is working because you dropped 10 pounds the first week? Congratulations - you were a water balloon. You’re probably dehydrated or shedding water... NOT FAT. This sucks because it feels like success but when the progress slows or stalls (because we’re using toxic, inefficient, ineffective ways to lose weight) we decide we suck and we quit. (Oh hey again INNER BITCH)
Worst part? INNER BITCH LEFT THE MENTAL HEALTH DOOR WIDE OPEN WITH A FREE CANDY SIGN AND INVITED IN ALL THE FUCKED UP MINDSETS. Now you’re opening up your mental well being to unwelcome guests like body dysmorphia, binge eating, anorexia, bulimia, self esteem issues... that can squat in your mind for years.
